The Clinical Practice Committee is a multi-disciplinary team of physicians that meet regularly to discuss evidence based clinical pathways that will provide the greatest clinical impact for patients of SSM Cancer Care. The oncologist-led team meets each month to discuss choices of therapy driven by efficacy at all stages of cancer care such as chemotherapy, supportive care, diagnostic workup/radiology/nuclear medicine, and end of life care. The team also discusses and monitors the clinical outcomes of SSM Cancer Care and makes decisions on how these outcomes should affect the treatment choices made by physicians practicing in SSM Cancer Care.
