Free H1N1 Flu Vaccines for Moms-To-Be
In partnership with the St. Louis County Health Department, SSM Maternity Care at DePaul Health Center is offering FREE H1N1 flu vaccines for pregnant women across the region. Vaccines will be administered from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. Vaccines will be given in shot form, as the flu mist is not approved for expectant mothers. Space is limited for the clinic and registration is required.
Sorry, we are no longer accepting Web registrations for the flu vaccine clinic. Please call toll-free 1-866-SSM-DOCS to determine if any appointments are still available.
The Centers for Disease Control considers pregnant women a high-risk population for H1N1 influenza. If you're expecting, you are recommended to receive the vaccine. If you have questions about the vaccination, speak with your doctor or visit www.flu.gov.
NOTE: The H1N1 flu vaccine clinic is sponsored by the St. Louis County Health Department and is intended for pregnant women residing in St. Louis County.
