SSM DePaul Health Center: Our spacious birthing suites are designed for the total comfort of mom, baby and the rest of the family. The rooms are decorated in warm pastels, creating a homelike atmosphere. Accommodations include a private shower, vanity, flat-screen TV and a comfortable sleeper sofa for mom’s support person. All of our suites are equipped to handle each phase of the delivery process, from labor and delivery to recovery and post-partum care.
SSM St. Clare Health Center: All phases of childbirth – labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum procedures – take place in the same specially designed private suite, with your family at your bedside. Each room has a comfortable sleeper sofa for your spouse or loved one to spend the night.
SSM St. Joseph Health Center: We offer LDR suites to give you comfortable home-like settings in which to labor (L), deliver (D), and recover (R). Each tastefully decorated suite offers a beautiful view and provides such comforts as TV and DVD player, free Wi-Fi, shower, rocker and a sleeper sofa for dad or other overnight guest. Following your delivery, you'll enjoy the rest of your stay in a private post-partum room. The same nurse cares for mom and baby to encourage teaching and bonding. Our moms enjoy room service, dads get a free meal, and everyone celebrates with a special commemorative cookie.
SSM St. Joseph Hospital West: When it’s time to deliver, you and your family will enjoy our all-private suites, where your baby can room with you. Eat what you like with our room service dining, and as a special treat, your guest will receive two free meals a day. Plus, don’t forget to bring your laptop. If you would like to e-mail some pictures during your stay, St. Joseph Hospital West provides free Wi-Fi Internet access for our guests.
SSM St. Mary’s Health Center: We offer comfortable rooms that feel more like hotel suites than hospital rooms, but when the time comes, the room quickly converts into a high-tech delivery room. Before that happens, you can make yourself comfortable and watch television on your personal flat-screen TV. You can experience labor, delivery and recovery all in one room. Family members are encouraged to be part of your birth experience. There’s even a comfy sleeper sofa for a family member. After you’ve had the baby, you’ll spend the rest of your stay in our comfortable Mother-Baby unit, where you and your baby are treated by the same nurse. Our Antepartum unit features all-private rooms for mothers-to-be experiencing a high-risk pregnancy.
