ST. CHARLES, MO (May 24, 2010) - David A. Kelch, FACMPE has been elected as President of the Medical Group Management Association of Missouri, Inc. (MGMA-MO). Kelch is the Associate Executive Director of the SSM St. Charles Clinic Medical Group, a 85+ provider medical group in St. Charles County. He’s been a member of MGMA-MO since 1995 and has served on the Board of Directors for the past five years. He served as the Conference Chairman for the 2010 Annual Conference and previously served on the Legislative and Professional Enrichment Assistance Program Committees.
Kelch holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University and is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He’s been working in medical group management for over twenty five years. In his current position, Kelch oversees the St. Charles Clinic Medical Group’s new building projects as well as the physician practice operations at each Medical Group location.
As an MGMA-MO board member, Kelch will help guide the organization toward achieving its mission, to “Advance the science and art of medical group management within the State of Missouri and adjacent areas.” MGMA-MO’s membership is comprised of over 450 medical practice managers representing large and small group practices including free standing, hospital-affiliated, and university-affiliated medical groups.
