SSM-St. Louis teamwork makes for another ‘Race for the Cure’ success 

ST. LOUIS - 545 SSM Health Care – St. Louis walkers made strides to defeat breast cancer at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® June 12.  The 12th annual race drew more than 71,000 total participants to downtown St. Louis.

Team SSM Cancer Care had representatives from each entity including Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, DePaul Health Center, St. Clare Health Center, St. Joseph Health Center, St. Joseph Medical Park, St. Joseph Hospital West, St. Mary’s Health Center, and the SSM Health Care – St. Louis network office.

SSM Cancer Care served as a bronze–level sponsor of the event, distributing pink and white beach balls, sunscreen packets and SSM Cancer Care information to Race for the Cure participants at a sponsorship booth.
