FENTON, MO - Physicians, hospital administrators and city officials celebrated the opening of the SSM Neurosciences Institute at St. Clare Health Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 17. The newly opened home of the institute brings the combined talents of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointerventionists and pain management specialists under one roof. The institute is located on the second floor of the St. Joseph Building on the hospital's campus in Fenton.
The multidisciplinary institute provides a comprehensive approach to the full range of conditions affecting the brain and spine, including stroke and aneurysm, back and neck ailments and pain issues; epilepsy and seizure disorders; dizziness; movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease; Alzheimer's disease and dementia; headaches and migraines; multiple sclerosis; head injuries; and tumors.
