 Karla Hitchcock named SSM Cancer Care oncology services director

ST. LOUIS — SSM Cancer Care has appointed Karla Hitchcock as director of oncology services for the SSM Health Care – St. Louis network’s South Operating Group.

For 12 years, Hitchcock served as executive administrator for the St. Louis Cancer & Breast Institute, the first physician-owned, free-standing multidisciplinary cancer center in St. Louis.

In her new SSM Health Care – St. Louis role, Hitchcock will oversee SSM Cancer Care services at two South Operating Group hospitals: SSM St. Clare Health Center, Fenton, and SSM St. Mary’s Health Center, Richmond Heights.
