ST. LOUIS – Susan J. Ell has been appointed as the first network vice president for SSM Health Care – St. Louis foundation. She will oversee philanthropy and fund-raising programs at the five adult hospitals with direct responsibility for the foundation work at SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton.
Most recently, Ell served as president and chief development officer for Advocate Health Care Charitable Foundation in Chicago. Advocate Health Care is the largest health care system in Illinois. Her career has included serving as a registered nurse and earning a Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
