FENTON, MO – SSM Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of its newest specialist, Srividya Ariyan, MD. Dr. Ariyan provides endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism services.
As an endocrinologist, Dr. Ariyan is fully trained to treat patients with a broad spectrum of conditions, including diabetes (type 1 and 2), lipid disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, pituitary tumors, adrenal insufficiency, male hypogonadism, secondary hypertension, endocrine tumors (like thyroid cancer), osteoporosis, along with other bone and calcium disorders.
Dr. Ariyan is also qualified to perform in-office thyroid ultrasounds and biopsy procedures.
Dr. Ariyan is board certified in internal medicine and fellowship trained in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She completed her fellowship training at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from Madras Medical College in India.
Dr. Ariyan is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
