WHAT: SSM Neurosciences Institute is now offering a support group for people with brain aneurysm, their loved ones and those who have lost someone to brain aneurysm. The purpose of the group is to provide people with information, emotional support and resources — all in an environment that encourages fellowship among participants.
Connie Pickering, advanced practice nurse, will serve as facilitator at the meetings. Each meeting, she will bring special guests to share an expertise of benefit to the support group members. Light refreshments will be provided.
Meetings will be held every other month on the second Tuesday, beginning in September, in the SSM Neurosciences Institute office waiting area at St. Clare Health Center.
