WHAT: St. Louis-based nonprofit Basket of Hope has been selected as the National Football League and Super Bowl XLVI’s official charity.
To celebrate the national opportunity, Basket of Hope, the St. Louis Rams and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center are hosting a kickoff event in the charity’s home city and national headquarters. Following a brief press conference, Rams players, cheerleaders and staff will deliver baskets to children at SSM Cardinal Glennon.
After the St. Louis delivery on Friday, the organization will deliver the remaining 7,000 gift-filled baskets to hospitalized children in the other 30 NFL cities.
