Pediatric Dental

Oral health and hygiene are vital to your child’s happiness and well-being. Without proper dental care, children may suffer from tooth decay and other diseases that can cause pain, infection and other complications.

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education have collaborated to provide exceptional care and education for pediatric patients and their parents in the St. Louis community and beyond.

Our team of board-certified pediatric dentists and residents from Saint Louis University staff the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Dental Clinic. We provide comprehensive care for children from birth to 12 years old living in the St. Louis area and surrounding communities. The SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Dental Clinic provides a dental home for children of all income levels, including those with special health care needs. Our residents provide quality care and are supervised by experienced faculty.

What is a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children. They are trained to care specifically for a child’s teeth, gums and mouth. The goal of a pediatric dentist is to educate children and parents on the importance of oral hygiene, how to care for their teeth and to help children and their parents feel comfortable when visiting the dentist.
