What are Therapy Services?
Our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists offer evaluation, diagnosis and treatment plans for children in our hospital or referred by a physician in the community.
Our physical therapy team typically works with children experiencing:
- Burns or other dermatology conditions
- Developmental delays
- Diabetes
- Myelomeningocele (type of spina bifida)
- Neurological conditions
- Orthopedic conditions
- Traumatic brain injuries

Therapy services are available at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon’s main campus, as well as at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Pediatrics Specialty Services.
Referral Process
All physical, occupational and speech therapy services at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon require a written prescription from a referring physician. After a referral has been made, our therapists will communicate with a child’s doctor about individual goals and treatment plans for therapy.
