Our Mission and Accomplishments
The SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis Auxiliary was established on February 28, 1960. We began with 27 dedicated members. Today we are 250 members strong.
Together we contribute time, talent and resources to raise money for service projects and social events that promote the health and welfare of the North County area and beyond. Auxiliary efforts have helped defray the cost of equipment and facilities that would not be available through other funding sources.
The SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis Auxiliary is comprised of men and women who work together to support the efforts of the hospital through the donation of their time and talent for events and fundraising efforts. Members come from a variety of backgrounds and each has a unique set of skills and experiences that help to make the Auxiliary successful.
Auxiliary events provide funding for special hospital services, equipment, projects and programs. Some events Auxiliary members plan and can participate in include:
- Spring Luncheon
- Fall Affair
- Christmas Social
- Special sales (book sales, jewelry sales, shoe sales, bake sales)
- Representing the hospital at community events
The cost to join the auxiliary is $15.00 per year as a general member; $20.00 annually as a sustaining member or a one-time $150.00 payment as a lifetime member. Members have the opportunity to have a great impact on the hospital and its ability to serve the community through the efforts of the auxiliary. In addition, members receive monthly newsletters, have numerous social activities throughout the year and attend an annual Christmas Social appreciation at the hospital.
If you have any questions or would like to know more about what we do, please contact Mary Doherty, membership chair, at email@example.com or 314-330-6986.
Auxiliary Mission Statement
The purpose of the auxiliary is to offer its members an opportunity to assist the hospital and their patients by participating in good works, by providing financial assistance through sponsorship of various activities throughout the year, and by acting as good will ambassadors to the community at large.
