The SSM Health DePaul - St. Louis Chapel is located off of the main lobby, open 24 hours a day.

At SSM Health DePaul - St. Louis, we believe in treating the whole person, supporting your spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Our chaplains are available seven days a week from 8 am – 4 pm, offering a listening presence, spiritual support and pastoral assistance in a health care crisis. In addition to our regular daily hours, there is a chaplain on-call 24 hours a day for emergency pastoral needs.

When you need a chaplain, please contact your nurse, or dial “0” and ask the operator to contact a chaplain for you.

• Helping you to identify or use your faith resources
• Assisting you in coping with fear, anxiety, and grief
• Providing Sacraments and other religious rituals
• Discussing advance directive and power of attorney for health care

Holy Communion and Anointing of the Sick are available upon request.

Our gift shop is located on the lobby level of the hospital, just inside the front entrance. Here you’ll find a variety of unique gift items, greeting cards, and a full-service florist, as well as snacks and miscellaneous toiletry items you may have forgotten.

Friday: 7 am - 3 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Our gift shop is operated by the DePaul Auxiliary and all proceeds benefit the DePaul Foundation. Auxiliary members receive a 20% discount in the shop.

The following hotels are located approximately four miles from the hospital on Dorsett Road at I-270. The Drury Inn has a reduced rate for SSM Health patients and families.

Café DePaul

Café DePaul is located on the ground floor, just past the information desk inside the main hospital entrance.

Continental Breakfast Hours
Daily: 10:00 am – 10:45 am

Hot Lunch Hours
Daily: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Deli Selections
Our deli selection includes sandwiches, soups, salad bar and desserts. Open daily from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Dinner Hours
Monday through Friday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 pm

Midnight Café Service Hours
Sunday through Thursday: 11:00 p.m. – 2:00 am

Jazzman's Café

Jazzman’s Café is located in the main hospital lobby. It offers a variety of specialty coffees, teas, fruit smoothies and fresh baked goodies. Open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am until 2:00 pm.

Vending Machines

Vending machines, offering a variety of snack items, are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are located on the main hospital floor, across from the patient tower elevators and throughout the hospital.
