Celebrating our exceptional 2023 Mission in Motion winners

At SSM Health, we are committed to ensuring our patients and customers experience exceptional service in every encounter, whether it’s on the phone, online, or in person. This is our Mission and who we are. In this spirit, the Mission in Motion Awards were created to recognize the exceptional team members who embody our Mission and Values in their unmistakable commitment to revealing God’s healing presence.
In 2023, after countless employees nominated their peers from across the system, 41 extraordinary team members were honored with this award during Mission and Heritage Week. This MyNews series highlights these winners from across the system. Get to know these team members who bring kindness and care to our patients, families, neighbors and each other, revealing the healing presence of God.
This week’s Mission in Motion winner is Faye Becker, LPN, SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital, for being recognized for living SSM Health’s Mission every day. Here's what her colleagues say about Faye.
“Faye is a compassionate care giver who brings unique skills from her previous career as a hairdresser in her work at SSM Health. She often gives our elderly patients a little extra tender loving care when they are in need of grooming by trimming their hair, shaving, or trimming beards to make them feel cared for. Her special care goes above her nursing duties and is very appreciated by our patients and their families.”
