SSM Health Wisconsin congratulates our “Big Shots”
May 07, 2024 01:05 PM - Teams across several of our SSM Health Wisconsin clinics are being recognized for their efforts to ensure that more than 90% of our pediatric patients were up to date with their routine immunizations in 2022. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has bestowed its “Big Shot” award on teams at our clinics in Edgerton, Evansville, Madison West, Mineral Point, New Glarus, Stoughton and Whitewater.
Our teams in Edgerton, Evansville, Whitewater and at Madison West Family Medicine and Pediatrics were recognized in the Hepatitis A vaccine category. To become a “Big Shot” award winner in this category, 90% of the children seen in clinic must have at least one dose of Hepatitis A vaccine by age two.
Our Edgerton, Mineral Point, New Glarus, Stoughton and Whitewater teams were “BigShot” winners in the MMR vaccine category because 95% or more of their patients have had at least one dose of the MMR vaccine by 2 years of age.
