Center for Interventional Pain Management

At SSM St. Joseph Hospital West, we believe that pain relief is an important part of providing comprehensive health care services, and that patients should have access to the best level of pain relief that can be provided safely.  Our goals include decreasing or controlling our patients' current levels of pain and helping them improve their daily living functions.

Patients are referred for interventional pain management treatment by primary care physicians and other specialists.  Self-referred patients may be seen, but are required to be under the direction of a primary care physician.
