Information for Visitors
Visitors can be good medicine for patients. We encourage family members and friends to visit. In order to maintain a safe, comfortable healing environment, the following visiting guidelines have been established:
- General visiting hours: 8 am-8 pm
- Visitors must perform hand hygiene before entering a patient room.
- One adult (18+) visitor is allowed past 8 pm. Please speak with staff regarding after-hours visitor requirements.
- Children are allowed to visit, but they must be supervised by an adult visitor at all times.
- Patients who are under isolation precautions may have visitors. Please speak with staff for additional guidance before entering the patient’s room.
The hospital is a place for healing. Please keep noise and large gatherings to a minimum when near patient rooms.

Being hospitalized can be a difficult time for patients and family members alike. Spiritual support can help with the stress, fears and anxiety that people may experience during their hospital stay. Our chaplain services help to provide a sense of healing and comfort.
If you would like to request a visit from the chaplain please speak with your nurse.
Chapel
The Chapel is open 24 hours daily. It provides a serene environment for patients and visitors to reflect, regroup and pray.
The Gift Shop offers a wide variety of items, including flowers, slippers, various gifts, toiletries and much more!
Gift Shop Hours
Monday through Friday: 9 am - 5 pm
The Gift Shop will be open on weekend afternoons as volunteers are available. These hours may change due to volunteer staff availability.

Prairie View Café
The Prairie View Café is open to the public daily with hot meal service available from 6:30 am to 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.
- 6:30 am - Café opens for service
- 7:00 am - 10:00 a.m. - Café opens for hot breakfast
- 11:00 am - 1:30 p.m. - Café opens for lunch service
- 1:30 pm - 4:00 p.m. - Grab and go, soup, salad bar, and grill remain open
Dining on Call
Dining on call provides fresh prepared meals to our patients, delivered within 45 minutes of the request. Orders may be placed from any internal phone by calling 38050 or from an outside line at 608-373-8050.
Guest Dining
Visitors are welcome to dine with patients in their rooms.
Parking & Driving Directions
Our campus and facility are fully accessible. Accessible parking is available near each entrance. Complimentary valet parking services are available Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 7:00 pm for those needing additional assistance.
