Electronic Health Records 

An electronic health record provides doctors with real-time access to the patient’s medical history and test results via a computer fixed at the patient’s bedside. The system is more efficient for the doctor and safer for the patient. There is no searching or waiting for a paper chart. Medications can be cross-checked against other prescribed drugs, lab results and diagnostics. Patient information can easily be shared between SSM hospitals and affiliated physicians and surgeons.
