Neuro-interventionists are neurologists with additional training in minimally invasive, neuroendovascular procedures.

R. Charles Callison Jr., M.D., is a neuro-interventionist with SSM Neurosciences Institute at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. He is board certified in neurology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and completed a residency in neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. In addition, he completed a cerebrovascular fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Dr. Callison also serves as assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of stroke, brain aneurysms, blood vessel malformations of the head, narrowing of the brain or neck arteries, and other conditions.

Randall C. Edgell, M.D., is a neuro-interventionist with the SSM Neurosciences Institute at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. He is board-certified in neurology. He earned a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the New York University School of Medicine, with fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Albany Medical Center Hospital. He also serves as an assistant professor of surgery and neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. His special interests include carotid stenosis, intracranial stenosis, acute stroke, cerebral aneurysm and brain arteriovenous malformations.

Armond Levy, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon and neuro-interventionist with the SSM Neurosciences Institute at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. He received a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a surgical internship at Brown University and a neurosurgical residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He received fellowship training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Indianapolis Neurosurgical Group.

Nirav A. Vora, M.D., is a neuro-interventionist who is board-certified in stroke care. He serves as the medical director of the stroke program at the SSM Neurosciences Institute at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. Dr. Vora earned a medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and is an assistant professor of neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at the Cleveland Clinic and was awarded the Egas Moniz Fellowship for Interventional Neurology by the American Society of Neuroimaging.
