SSM Health St. Louis wants you to be protected from the flu 

Non-profit Catholic healthcare organization to host six free public flu clinics on October 8

More than fifty-percent of hospitalizations for flu-related pneumonia could be prevented – yet fewer than 50-percent of Americans get the flu vaccine.

On October 8, SSM Health St. Louis is offering six, free public flu clinics to help vaccinate the children and families in our communities.

A drive-thru clinic will allow those ages 6 months and above to get a flu shot without even getting out of the car.

In partnership with Kohl’s 4 Kids, certified car seat technicians will be present to check for proper installation.

SSM Health will also host free, public flu clinics at the following locations, for those ages 9 and above.

For each of the public flu clinics, vaccines will be available by injection only. There will not be a preservative-free option. Pregnant women are advised to obtain a flu shot from their primary care physician. No appointments are necessary. Participants should wear loose fit clothing and cannot be pregnant at the time. Flu shots will be given on a first come first serve basis and are available while supplies last.
