Pediatrics 

Pediatric care within SSM Health Care is provided by SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, where we like to say “Our Love for Kids Just Keeps on Growing.”  That’s much more than a slogan – it’s the way we approach providing care to every child we see. All of our 190 beds are private, giving children and their parents a place to bond and heal in privacy.  Our growth over the past several years has its foundation in our focus on children, and has led to:

• The St. Louis Fetal Care Institute (2009)
• The Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center (2009)
• A state-of-the-art surgery center (2007)
• The 60-bed Dana Brown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the area’s only
  all-private NICU (2007)
• New all-private patient rooms (2003)
• Dedicated doctors office space near our free parking (2003)
• A Level 1 Emergency and Trauma Center (2003)
• Bob Costas Cancer Center (1998)

Our other pediatric specialties include rehabilitation, critical care, pulmonology, transplantation, hematology, sleep disorders and more.  We provide poison control services, perinatal outreach programs and a distributed network of pediatric programs throughout Missouri
and Illinois.
