The Premier healthcare alliance developed QUEST: High Performing Hospitals, a dynamic program to help hospitals and healthcare systems attain new performance levels. Building on the success of the Premier/CMS Hospital Quality Incentive Demonstration, the QUEST program seeks to develop next-generations quality, safety and cot metrics with a consistency and standardization that does not exist today. The Institute for Healthcare Improvement is provideing technical assistance and improvement expertise.
2009 Get With The Guidelines-Stroke
Get With The Guidelines-Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) is an in-hospital program designed to improve acute stroke treatment and prevent future strokes and cardiovascular events. GWTG-Stroke focuses on quick diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients through Primary Stroke Centers. It also involves care team protocols once patients are admitted to ensure that they are treated and discharged appropriately.
