Our Procedure Center is home to nine operating rooms, two multipurpose rooms, three Cardiac Cath Labs and a Biplane Angiography Suite.

Pre-registering for your procedure
Avoid delays by taking advantage of our telephone pre-registration service. Prior to the day of your procedure, please call 636-496-2671 to speak with our Registration department.

Preparing for your Procedure

• Pre-register at 636-496-2671.
• Before your procedure, ask your doctor if you need any tests, such as blood tests, X-rays and/or an EKG. To make an appointment for your tests, call 636-496-2989.
• Do not eat or drink after midnight on the day of your procedure. Do not have any water, coffee, juice, gum or breath mints.
• Take a bath or shower the night before and the morning of your procedure to decrease your chance of infection.
• Wear loose-fitting clothes the day of your procedure.
• Arrive at the Procedure Center 1.5-2 hours prior to your scheduled time, unless you are instructed otherwise.
• Bring your health insurance cards. Leave important valuables at home. 

The SSM St. Clare Health Center Surgical Center
In addition to the Procedure Center, an outpatient surgery center is located on the far left side of the campus in Suite 100 of the St. Joseph Building, 1055 Bowles Ave.

The SSM St. Clare Surgical Center provides patients with the convenience of a freestanding surgical center – with the support of a full-service hospital right next door.

This surgical center includes three operating suites, two treatment rooms, a reception area and offices. The facility is a collaborative partnership jointly owned by SSM St. Clare Health Center, United Surgical Partners International and St. Clare Physicians.

Accessing the surgical center
Simply park in the free parking lot in front of the St. Joseph Building. You’ll find the surgery center just inside the main entrance. To contact the surgical center, call 636-203-9710.
