SSM St. Clare Health Center, which opened March 30, 2009, is the first full-service hospital built in St. Louis County in 35 years. The 180-bed facility is a member of SSM Health Care-St. Louis.
The SSM St. Clare campus – complete with the SSM Heart Institute, SSM Neurosciences Institute, SSM Cancer Care, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Outpatient Procedure Center, Outpatient Diagnostic Center and Medical Office Building – is serving the needs of a rapidly expanding population in southwest St. Louis County.
More than 900 area doctors are on the St. Clare medical staff and a variety of practices are located in the on-campus St. Francis Medical Office Building. For a list of physicians with offices on campus, click here.
Our hospital is just a mile south of I-44, at the intersection of Hwy. 141 and Bowles Avenue in Fenton, Mo.
SSM St. Clare is a replacement hospital for SSM St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood, which served the community for 54 years.
