The residents are required to complete a research project that is suitable for publication and is presented at Midwest Pharmacy Residency Conference. The residents also are required to complete a drug usage evaluation which is presented as a poster presentation at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.

Physician Interaction
The Health Center supports four medical residency programs:

The pharmacy residents interact closely with all medical resident programs throughout the required clinical rotations. Further training with the programs’ attendings and residents is possible during the elective experiences.

In addition, the residents work with various physician groups while serving on committees and providing care to patients throughout the Health Center.
