SSM announced in early September that it would be changing its name and working with employees on continuing to build the promise that the new name signifies. Since then, more than 1,500 people at 30 care sites have gathered to share their input.
"Delivering on our brand promise is going to take every single one of us, working together toward a common purpose, each and every day,” said William P. Thompson, President/CEO of SSM Health. “As we continue to create a consistent consumer experience across our system, the name SSM Health will only grow in meaning. It will express our promise to patients, customers and to each other about who we are and what we stand for.”
SSM Health is more than a name change, it’s a reflection of the organization’s commitment to an exceptional patient experience. That means delivering high-value health care that is affordable, sustainable and convenient to every patient.
Over the next few years, SSM will integrate its new name, look, and promise into all of its locations in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
