Our Music Therapists
Kelli McKee, MA, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. A native of Maryville, Mo., Kelli obtained a bachelor’s degree in business from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in music therapy from New York University.
After completing her clinical internship with pediatric and adult oncology patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a practicum at the Auditory Oral School of New York, Kelli returned to the Midwest to join the music therapy program at St Luke's Hospice in Kansas City. She moved to St Louis and created the Peaceful Harmony music therapy program at SSM Health at Home Hospice in May 2014. In the hospice program’s first year, it was selected as the MHPCA "Outstanding Program,” a statewide honor and Kelli was chosen as one of the employee keynote speakers for the 2015 SSM Health Leadership Conference. Kelli is a member of the American Music Therapy Association and serves on the national Professional Advocacy Committee, as the representative for the Midwestern Region. Kelli is proficient in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, ukulele, percussion and voice and is a member of the SSM Health's Mission Glee Choir.
