Mike Azzam, MD, is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. He treats athletes of all ages, and specializes in arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle.
Dr. Azzam completed a sports medicine fellowship at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, AL. He assisted as team physician for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Samford Bulldogs football teams, and also cared for the Alabama Ballet, USA Cheer, WWE professional wrestling, the Birmingham Barons and Birmingham area high school teams. During his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic, Dr. Azzam served as a team physician for the Memphis Redbirds (AAA-affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals).
