Accreditations and Designations
Pursuing accreditations, recognitions, and award programs are another way we demonstrate our commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Joint Commission Accreditation
The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits more than 15,000 health care organizations, including SSM Health.
Magnet organizations are considered “the Gold Standard” of nursing. As an organization, SSM Health strives for Magnet recognition to create a culture that has the best patient outcomes and the best work environment. All of our entities are currently working on attaining their Magnet status.
NCQA Diabetes Recognition
The NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program is a voluntary program designed to recognize clinicians who use evidence-based measures and provide excellent care to their patients with diabetes. Primary care physicians with SSM Health Medical Group have been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP) for meeting the national standards of diabetes care.
NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition
The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that helps build better relationships between patients and their care teams. SSM Health Medical Group had been recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This means that we provide exceptional care to you through evidence-based protocols, while partnering with you on every aspect of your health, and have committed to quality improvement within our practice.
At SSM Health, we take our commitment to quality outcomes seriously and believe that you, our patients, should be at the center of all we do. By fostering a culture of quality improvement, we can ensure that we deliver the best health care possible now and in the future.
