About Our Patient Satisfaction Survey

SSM Health is dedicated to providing exceptional care to each and every patient we meet. To help us achieve this goal, we measure all facets of our patients' experiences with their SSM Health Medical Group providers. Patient feedback is collected and verified by our partner, Qualtrics, an independent provider of patient experience measurement with years of experience.

What Providers Are Included In Our Survey?

SSM Health provides patient experience ratings for SSM Health Medical Group primary care doctors, specialists, nurse practitioners, midwives and physician assistants.

Who Receives the Survey?

An electronic version of the survey is typically sent to SSM Health patients within a few days of an office visit with their SSM Health provider. Patient feedback is then used to improve all aspects of the patient experience and help us offer the best care possible.

• What is the likelihood of your recommending this care provider to others?
• How would you rate the provider on the following?
  • Listening carefully to you
  • Explaining things in a way you understood
  • Knowing your medical history
  • Treating you with courtesy and respect
  • Efforts to include you in decisions about your care
• Please provide any additional feedback about your experience for your provider.

Are All Comments Posted?

We're committed to posting all patient feedback – both positive and negative. However, we don't post any comments that are profane, libelous or risk the privacy of our patients.

Why Don't Some Providers Have Star Ratings?

There are three reasons a provider might not have star ratings.

• Providers with less than 30 surveys returned by patients may not have patient ratings listed on their profiles due to the small sample size.
• We typically utilize 12 rolling months of survey results to ensure accuracy of posted results. Some providers new to our organization might not meet this time requirement. The more ratings a provider receives, the more accurate and reliable the data are.
• We only post star ratings for providers who are part of SSM Health.
