Ashvin Sood, MD, is a board-certified adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist from Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Sood began his medical training at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where he developed a passion for mental health, and chose to pursue the field of psychiatry for his residency training. He completed his adult psychiatry residency training at the NYU School of Medicine followed by his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Cornell and Columbia University. His interests include digital media and how mental health education is provided on social media platforms. He has multiple presentations, awards, and publications pertaining to the effects of social media on youth mental health. He looks forward to helping those in Fond du Lac through therapy and medication management.
