At SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, our SLUCare Physician Group surgeons are trained in state-of-the-art procedures to care for all of your child's surgery needs. Our team of surgeons works with a full staff of pediatric specialists to ensure that your child receives the best care possible. Our program is designed to follow children requiring surgical care from prior to birth in our SSM Health Cardinal Glennon St. Louis Fetal Care Institute, through their development as young adults.

We can offer tips on how to talk to your child about surgery as well as provide ideas for activities that can help ease your child's fears and anxieties.
About Our Surgery Program
SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities that enable our physicians to utilize the latest technology to diagnose and treat our young patients. Our operating rooms are part of a 130,000-square-foot building, which also includes our 60-bed, all-private room Dana Brown NICU, and the Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center.
For complex medical cases, surgeons have access to our 3D Printing Center of Excellence to create detailed anatomic models unique to the individual. This allows for presurgical and preprocedural planning to improve patient outcomes and care.
