Information for Visitors
Information about patients is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling the patient information desk at 405-273-2270. For the privacy and confidentiality of our patients, we will only provide the room and telephone number.
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee provides patients and their families with a chapel where they may have a moment of quiet solitude. The chapel is located on the first floor next to registration.
Gifts of Inspiration is filled with beautiful gifts, accessories, plush toys and baby gifts. We carry a wide variety of books, magazines, candy, balloons, jewelry, as well as a variety of home décor and candles. A large triple flower cooler is filled with cheerful arrangements, dish gardens, plants and bud vases provided by Graves Floral of Shawnee.
Gift wrapping is free. Phone orders are welcome, and we are happy to deliver gifts and flowers to patients and staff within the hospital complex. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Admitting & Registration
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee's registration office, located in the front lobby of the main entrance, is the first stop you will make if you are admitted to the hospital or having any outpatient procedures performed. Even patients who have phoned in advance and pre-registered, will still need to check in at the registration desk.
Be sure to bring your social security card, identification (driver's license), insurance card, any paperwork you have received from your doctor and your Advance Directives (living will, power of attorney or healthcare surrogate documentation).
You will want to leave all of your valuables – wallet, money, credit cards, jewelry and similar items at home or give them to your family members at the time of admission.
One of SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee's patient services representatives will take care of your registration, which will include signing the appropriate consent forms, discussing financial arrangements and providing the hospital with demographic information (address, phone number, etc.) A financial counselor is available should you have questions about insurance or billing.
If your doctor has ordered an outpatient test or procedure (mammogram, blood test, chest X-ray), please pre-register over the phone by calling SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee's patient access office at 405-273-2270.
The day of your procedure or test, you will proceed directly to the registration office to sign all proper forms and will be directed the appropriate department.
Parking & Driving Directions
Accessible parking is available in the main entrance parking lot, to the west of the main entrance doors. In addition, there is accessible parking in front of the emergency room entrance and in the west tower parking lot.
