Patient & Family Resources

The MidAmerica Stroke Network does more than create standards of treatment. We’re here to provide our patients and their families the comfort they need in this overwhelming time.

As a certified Stroke Center of Excellence by the Joint Commission, SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital created the MidAmerica Stroke Network to collaborate on quality stroke care measures throughout the region. Our staff is committed to providing current and clinically-effective stroke care to the patients we serve.

Our patient and guest services representatives are the link between our patients and their families. We’re available to help with matters concerning patient hospitalization, to answers questions, and to listen to suggestions and opinions.

Patient and guest services can be reached between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday at 314-577-8500. If you’re calling during any other time, a message may be left for patient and guest services with the hospital operator or a nurse supervisor, social worker or chaplain.
