Visitor Guidelines
SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton and SSM Health Medical Group have updated our visitor policy to:
- SSM Health has discontinued its universal masking policy.
- Masks are no longer required, with the exception of those who have known or suspected COVID-19 or other upper respiratory symptoms.
- Patients will continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms, and masks will be provided for those who need one.
- We support patients and visitors who choose to wear a mask.

At SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton, we believe in treating the whole person, embracing your spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Our chaplains are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and work hard to visit with all hospitalized patients.

Sacraments
Holy Communion is offered daily to our Catholic patients. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick and Sacrament of Reconciliation may be celebrated with patients and their families upon request. Your own minister, rabbi or priest is always welcome to visit you while you are here. If you need assistance contacting them, please let us know.
Religious Services
Mass is held Monday through Friday at 12:00 PM in the Fabick Chapel on the first floor and is televised at that time on the Chapel Channel (7) in patient suites.
Fabick Chapel
Fabick Chapel and the offices of our Pastoral Care staff are located on the first floor near the main lobby. The chapel is available 24 hours a day, and people of all faiths are welcome in this peaceful area for reflection, prayer and spiritual renewal.
Meditation Rooms
Semi-private meditation rooms are available in each of the family lounge areas on patient floors, in the chapel and in the emergency services waiting area.

Here you’ll find a variety of unique gift items, greeting cards, as well as snacks and miscellaneous toiletry items you may have forgotten.

Patient Dining Service
Our diet office will call you twice daily to get your menu selections. Should you have any concerns or special needs - please call DINE and our office can assist you. Family members also can phone-in advance orders by dialing 636-496-3463 for external callers or ext. 3463 for internal callers.
Guest trays are available for $7 if a family member or visitor wants to dine with a patient. Credit cards are accepted.
We have clinical dietitians available to answer any questions regarding diet or the room service menu. Our dietitians can be easily reached at 636-496-2543.
Café
The St. Clare Café is located on the Garden Level and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Café accepts credit and debit cards for payment.
