We serve as the medical teaching hospital for Saint Louis University School of Medicine and offer a variety of critical care services across 80 ICU beds and an expanded Emergency Department that sees approximately 45,000 patients each year.

Residency Overview

The PGY2 Critical Care Residency program conducted by  SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri is accredited by ASHP. This 12-month training program offers residents the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and philosophical practices expected of a critical care pharmacist at an academic medical center. It emphasizes advanced clinical and leadership skills and helps residents to develop excellent verbal and written communication skills. Residents who take part in the program develop practices that prepare them to provide expertise in intense and time-sensitive situations.
