What to Bring to the Hospital for Childbirth

Now is a great time to start preparing for your delivery. One of the things you can do prior to your hospital stay is make a list of all of the important things you’ll need to take to the hospital for you and your baby. Babies can surprise us, and the same goes for childbirth. Because of this, we recommend packing your things several weeks before your scheduled due date, in case you need to come to the hospital unexpectedly.

Essential items you’ll want to include are your insurance information, a list of any medications you're taking, and if possible, the actual bottles of prescription medication.
