Dr. Jane Smith is a pediatric pulmonologist and cares for pediatric patients ranging in age from newborn to age 18 with a variety of pulmonary conditions including cystic fibrosis, asthma, congenital lung abnormalities, airway disorders, bronchitis, lung and chest tumors, chest pain, chronic cough, and vocal cord dysfunction.
Dr. Smith's research interest includes cystic fibrosis and asthma clinical therapy.
Dr. Smith is a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Center Committee. She is a visiting professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Hospital Universität d'Etat Haiti, and lectures on pediatric pulmonary issues in international health.
