Childbirth Education Series Class

Expectant parents will learn tools and techniques in this interactive class in preparation for a positive birthing experience. You'll learn about the labor and birth process, including relaxation techniques during labor, as well as what to expect after delivery. You will also learn some important information regarding newborn care. Classes are generally scheduled on the same weekday evening for 3 or 4 consecutive weeks. A tour of the Labor & Delivery Unit is included.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTES:

• Free for those delivering at SSM Health St. Mary's, so enter MidMo Free in the discount field. It must be typed exactly as we have listed. 
• If you are not delivering at St. Mary's, the fee is full price.
• Put registration in the mother's name (support person is automatically registered with the mother's registration).
• The fee is for a couple or individual registrant.
• If there are not enough registrants for a class, it is subject to cancelation. Should this occur, an instructor will be in contact with you to discuss options for rescheduling.
