Caring for Your Newborn - Madison

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Madison is offering the Caring for Your Newborn class both in-person and virtually. Please check the location of each class listing below to determine if the class is held online or at the hospital.

Gain confidence in caring for your newborn and enhance your understanding of your baby's needs. Caretakers will learn the following:

• Recognize typical physical and behavioral characteristics of a new baby
• Learn about infant feeding
• Understand cord care
• Get tips on diapering
• Discover measures for your baby's health and safety
• Participate in a tour of our private family birthing suites

Registration Details (PLEASE READ):

• Register only one person. Your registration includes yourself and your support person(s). Do not register your support person(s) separately.
• Do not register for more than one Caring for Your Newborn class.
• SSM Health employees receive 50% off all classes. Please call to receive discount code.
• If you are in need of financial assistance to attend a class, please call to discuss special pricing.
• Refunds will be granted for cancelled programs only.
