Understanding Multiples Class

Expecting more than one baby? Join the Understanding Multiples Class. You'll learn about the unique aspects of a multiples pregnancy, how to prepare your body and mind for the birth process, explore the stages of birth, medical procedures, cesarean and vaginal births, breastfeeding multiples, and discuss what life with multiples will be like at home. There will be an optional tour of the Family Birthplace after the class. A $10 meal voucher will be provided for use in Cafe DePaul.

This class replaces Childbirth Preparation, but you are encouraged to attend other classes, such as Comfort Measures and Infant Care.

REGISTRATION NOTES:

• REGISTER FOR THE 2050 CLASS AND AN INSTRUCTOR WILL CONTACT YOU TO ARRANGE A CLASS DATE THAT WORKS FOR YOU.
• Please put ALL maternity registrations in the expectant mother's name, because the fee is per couple or individual registrant. Do not register guests.
• Recipients of Missouri or Illinois Medicaid plans must call to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling. With the proper claim submitted, classes are free.
• SSM Health employees should call to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling.
• SSM Health clinic patients should contact the clinic to request the proper documentation to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling. With the proper claim submitted, some classes are free.
