Caregiver Bereavement Support Group

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Caregiver Bereavement Support Committee is offering peer support groups facilitated by credentialed hospital staff. These sessions are not therapy; the purpose of this group is for parents, caregivers, and legal guardians to share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings related to their grief.

Each group will consist of six weekly sessions from 5:30-7 pm. There may be a waiting list for each group. Groups may also be determined based on the nature of the loss. Groups will be held at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Topics that will be discussed include:

• Understanding and living with grief
• Coping strategies
• Communication and relationships
• Navigating significant events
• Memorializing and honoring legacy

Dates & Location

Classes will be held October 8th through November 4th, 2024* at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Details and other class information will be given once your registration is confirmed.
