Third Party Security Incident – Doctor Alliance
SSM Health received notice of a data security incident from Doctor Alliance, a third-party vendor that provides a home healthcare web-based physician portal, and other software products servicing the home healthcare industry. SSM Health utilized Doctor Alliance for access to a web-based data transmission and storage system to facilitate the exchange of electronic documentation between SSM Health and external physicians. This incident affected more than 500 patients at SSM Health at Home - Oklahoma. This incident did not involve SSM Health systems or network. Additional information is available at doctoralliance.com. Third Party Security Incident – Pinnacle Holdings, LTD
SSM Health received notice of a data security incident from Pinnacle Holdings, LTD (“Pinnacle”), which was an SSM Health third-party vendor that provided healthcare consulting services to certain hospitals of SSM Health. This incident affected fewer than 100 total patients at SSM Health – Monroe Clinic in Wisconsin. This incident did not involve SSM Health’s systems or network. Pinnacle has set up a dedicated response line to offer resources and information to people who believe they may have been affected by this incident. Pinnacle also has implemented additional security measures to help prevent a similar occurrence in the future.
