SSM Health Day Institute

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital's Day Institute Program, located on the corner of Medical Plaza (from the east)/Harbor Bend Court (from the west) and Veterans Memorial Parkway, just west of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, offers a specialized, outpatient rehabilitation program in a flexible full-day format for individuals who can benefit from a comprehensive approach to recovery, but don't necessarily need rehabilitation in the acute hospital setting. The main entrance is on the west side of the building.

The Day Institute has three specialty tracks for patients:

• Neurological Rehabilitation Program for those who have suffered a traumatic or acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury or stroke
•  Amputee Rehab Program for lower extremity amputees
• Medically Complex Rehabilitation Program for those with diagnoses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre and Parkinson's
