Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Center at SSM Health Monroe Hospital

The Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Center is located on the lobby level of SSM Health Monroe Hospital, behind Prairie Stone Gifts. The space is home to physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and sports medicine services.

The design of the center takes full advantage of the east-facing windows for natural light and ambiance, encompassing more than 11,000 square feet. Therapy rooms and locations, designed with the input of the rehabilitation therapy team, surround a large open space for multi-purpose use.

The space features a 100-foot long track alongside the window for strength and gait evaluation and training.

State-of-the-art therapy equipment allows us to offer new and more effective rehabilitation strategies for patients including:

• Lite Gait treadmill system that supports patients who have difficulty walking after an injury or stroke.
• Bertec balance therapy system for patients struggling with balance issues.
