SSM Health is pleased to announce Kyle Grate as the President of St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.
Kyle is a skilled leader with a deep connection to our Mission and serving our SSM Health teams. He currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Interim President at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis, and he will assume his new role beginning Monday, Jan. 31.
Kyle began his career with SSM Health in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles which has helped build and expand his leadership, operational, and strategic skills. He left SSM Health in 2015, returning in 2018, serving as the Director of Strategy and Business Development. He was promoted to his current Vice President of Operations role in 2019 where he has led the hospital’s emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead the St. Clare Ministry team and work with an exceptional group of employees, leaders, and a highly engaged medical staff,” Kyle said. “I look forward to working with those teams to ensure we deliver the highest quality care possible to the community we are blessed to serve.”
Kyle received his Master of Business Administration from Webster University and attended University of Missouri – St. Louis for his undergraduate education. Kyle has an extensive background in financial analysis, identifying and developing change strategies, and developing relationships with physicians. Kyle resides in Shrewsbury with his wife and three kids. He takes pride in being an active parent – coaching CYC and being a cub scout leader. He is also a Board Member of United Services for Children.
