MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest is pleased to announce the opening of SSM Health Cancer Care in Midwest City, Okla. Located on the first floor of St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest with its own entrance and dedicated parking, the updated space offers a relaxing environment for patients with a comfortable waiting room, three exam rooms and ten treatment rooms. The clinic will serve Midwest City, eastern Oklahoma county and surrounding areas with chemotherapy, immunotherapy and non-cancer related infusions.
“When we assumed operations of SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Midwest last year, community members asked us to bring back oncology services to Midwest City,” said Dr. Robert Rader, VP, Medical Affairs, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest. “We are pleased to fulfill that request with the opening of our new SSM Health Cancer Care clinic. Our physicians, Dr. Todd Kliewer and Dr. James ‘JK’ Feisal have been helping Oklahomans overcome cancer for years at our Frank C. Love Institute at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Our commitment is to provide our patients with personal and compassionate care, so they can focus on healing close to home in and around Midwest City."
SSM Health Cancer Care will also provide infusion treatments for a variety of non-cancer conditions, including bladder/urological issues, bone and soft tissue conditions, iron, kidney concerns, liver, lung, platelets, thyroid conditions and more. A team of hematologists, pathologists, specialists and nurse navigators will work with patients every step of the way to develop personalized patient plans.
