Planning underway for the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Golf Par-Tee

Participation and support directly impact the hospital’s community health initiatives.

Mt. Vernon, IL – Planning and fundraising for the annual SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Golf Par-Tee four person scramble are again underway. To support SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital’s community health initiatives focusing on food insecurity, patient transportation, and preventive services, this 35th annual event will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at Green Hills Golf Club in Mt. Vernon.

“By participating in the golf scramble, you will be making a positive impact on the quality of care provided to the residents of our community. A healthy community is a thriving community,” said Kay Zibby-Damron, Administrative Director of Fund Development at SSM Health in Southern Illinois.

Registration will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. Registration included green fees, carts, lunch, refreshments on the course, hors de’ oeuvres at the 19th hole, and an individual player gift.

“This longstanding event is the hospital’s largest annual fundraiser and it’s always a fun day.
